Born in Soweto, Jo’s entrepreneurial path began with his own marketing agency, where he mastered brand strategy and business growth. Moving to the UK, he gained international business experience and worked at a major reverse logistics company, where he managed large teams in a high-volume operation. This experience sharpened his leadership, operations, and problem-solving skills.

Returning to South Africa in 2013, Jo founded HD Designed, which later evolved into Seventynine Digital—a leading provider of web development, software solutions, IT consulting, and cybersecurity services.
